Tikes Bikes is a family owned and operated retailer of mobility toys for children ages 1 – 6. Our primary mission is to keep kids active through outdoor play. Once children are capable walkers, they are able to use ride-on toys and balance bikes to increase their activity and make exercise a daily part of their routine.

As parents of two young children, we found a balance bike to be an integral part of our everyday fun. It took our daughter just one year to go from riding a balance bike to getting on a “big kid” bike – WITHOUT TRAINING WHEELS. She was just 3 when she learned to ride the “big kid” bike, however she continues to ride her balance bike on dirt trails, at the beach, and in skateboarding parks.

Our secondary mission is to encourage children to wear helmets when riding on a toy with wheels. This includes tricycles, bikes, scooters, roller skates and skateboards. We sell a top-of-the-line helmet for kids, Little Nutty Helmets, that is great for multiple sports such as skateboarding, riding bikes and skiing or snowboarding.
