Whether a new bike is under the Christmas tree this year or your kiddo is a cycling enthusiast, these stocking stuffers will put a smile on their face on December 25. We've compiled our favorites that are available on Amazon for a quick, no-hassle delivery.
Mirrcycle makes some of our favorite bells. The colorful Incredibell Jellibell comes in 5 translucent colors and kids will like to see the inner workings when it rings. The Incredibell Big Bike Bell rings that familar and nostalgic 'briiiiiiing, briiiiiiiing' politely asking others to "move over".
Sunglasses are just as important for eye protection for kids as it is for adults. Look for 100% UVA/UVB protection. We like Rivbos for it's unbreakable frame, polarized lenses and 20 color options. Ododos polarized lenses come with 5 interchangeable lenses for different outdoor conditions making them great for multi-sports.
Bike gloves will make any kid feel like a confident cyclist and protect them from the inevitable scrapes. Pearl Izumi has both half and full finger in multiple colors. They run small so make sure you measure for the appropriate size. Giro and Zippy Rooz also have mutliple sizes and colors for kids.
After bikes, we think books are the best gift for kids. We are really excited about this new book for kid cyclists. The Kid's Cycling Handbook: Tips, Facts and Know-How About Road, Track, BMX and Mountain Biking is not only packed with tips, history and more but it's spiral-bound for taking notes and a fold out for essential bike maintenance.
This may not fit in a stocking but it's a great gift for bike riders, nonetheless. Drinking water while exercising is a great habit to start young. Hydration packs are a small backpack with a water reservoir inside and a tube that can be run along the child's chest. This frees up the hands for riding and gives you a place to stash the ride snacks.
