One of the great things about Ridgeback Scoot, Scoot XL and the Saracen Freewheel balance bikes are that the acorn nuts on the axles protect the paint finish of the bike's frame when the bike is laid down on it's side. Over time, these frame-protecting axle nuts become worn and bad looking. Here's a nice way to refresh any Scoot or Freewheel balance bike- four brand new axle nuts!
