Can riding bikes help kids with ADHD to focus? That's the question Specialized Bicycles set out to understand.
With the help of RTSG Neuroscience Consultants, the study measured the effects of cycling on the attention capacity of 47 middle school students. The kids rode their bikes five days per week before school for 30 days.
"The study found that the cycling program led to an increase in positive mood, improvements in several aspects of attention, as well as acute and longer-term benefits in cognition."
